Welcome to Freebie Friday with Bugaboo Stamps!!!
Every Friday Jodie has a freebie digital image to share with you (sometimes there are 2!!) and that image is free in the Bugaboo Store for 1 week. This week we have a very cute Birthday Turtle for you.

The Card I made with this adorable image is also for 2 challenges.
The 1st challenge is a sketch from the team at A Crafty Little Place, the new home/blog for Die Cuts R Us.

I changed up the sketch just a little so it would work with the stamps and size card I chose to work with.

The second challenge I am entering this card in is a NEW challenge site and this is their 1st challenge. It is called Party Time Tuesdays and their theme is always birthday cards. With a goal of having us create and have more birthday cards, which we all need to have on hand.

For my card I started by pulling out my Taylored Expressions May Key Ingredients for all of the supplies, along with coordinating Copic Markers, except the small postage Happy Birthday Stamp and the red rhinestones(& the Bugaboo digital image, of course), both of these are from CTMH. The large scalloped square dies are Spellbinders. I also used a fiskars corner rounder and border punch to finish off the card.

Unity FWF Friday & a TE Sketch

I hope you are enjoying the fabulous eye candy the Unity peeps always come up with. If you have just happened upon my blog today you will want to go to the Unity Blog to check out the list of all the participants today. My biggest problem with Unity stamps is deciding which ones to use!!! That always takes up most of my time. Today after I chose the stamps, I decided to use a Taylored Expressions Sketch. It is her Sketch Challenge #115 below.

I wanted to make a card that is more simple than my normal cards, and I think I Might have done that here. All papers and embellies here are from the Taylored Expressions Basic Grey Kioshi kit she had for spring (LOVE IT!!!). The flower and stem stamp are from Unity's Crazy for Daisies set. The live simply sentiment is from the Unity March 2009 Kit Simple Life (it is one of my favorites...but aren't they ALL!!!).

New Release Day!!!

Hello & Happy Tuesday!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!!

Today is New Release Tuesday at Bugaboo Stamps and I am so happy to show you one of Jodie's newest creations. This new set is called Giraffe Blocks and can be found at the here Bugaboo Store. I LOVE giraffes, I find them so fascinating. I was lucky enough to get to feed one at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, it was so fun!!! I couldn't believe how large it's head and tongue were!!

I chose to use this "block" to use today because it reminds me of a parent & child. That is also why I used the Joy sentiment too. When I think of my daughter and I, the feeling that comes to mind is joy.

This picture of my card looks so much lighter than the original, sorry about that. I will see if I can fix it or get a better one. To go with my Giraffes, I pulled out my Basic Grey Origins line...I still love it!!! The image is colored with Copics then die cut with my scalloped rectangle from Spellbinders. Then I matted it with Dp and then cardstock. I stamped the sentiment (Unity) on coordinating cardstock then matted that on a piece of border punched paper. This is actually a pretty simple card because I wanted the image to stand out with the beautiful Basic Grey papers.

Bugaboo Freebie Friday!!!! CUTE Summertime Peekers

Hello and Happy Freebie Friday from Bugaboo Stamps!!!
This week Jodie has come up with some FABULOUS freebies for you to try out!! They are called Summertime Peekers, there is an entire set of these little cuties and TWO of them are freebies for a week.......so you can try out her wonderful stamps!!!!

I also made this card for the Taylored Expressions Sketch #114 Below.

So, this little sweetie is called Summertime Peeker Flowerpot. There is also another peeker freebie that is a boy. They can both be found here in the Bugaboo Store. This Peeker series is another of Jodie's many creations that have me saying...."how does she do this?" 2 new sets released a week that are AMAZING!!!!

For my card today I used my little peeker along with elements from the Taylored Expressions April Key Ingredients which includes papers and elements from the Cosmo Cricket Material Girl Line. She is colored with Copics, the circle die is from Quickutz and the large scalloped square die is from Spellbinders. The paper buttons were punched with the Marvy Uchida embossed button punch. The one thing that doesn't show up in the photo is her blue eyes, they look much better IRL!!

IT'S Friday, Time for Friends With Flair!!

Hi & Happy Friday!!!

Today I have a very quick and simple card to share. I pulled out my amazing Unity quote stamps and picked this blossom quote I haven't used in a while. I knew I wanted to use my Kraft card base & keep it very simple.....here is what came to mind.

I really love this quote. I pulled out some Basic Grey Chipboard flowers, a tiny brad & some DCWV glitter paper to punch a border. That was it. A very fast card for me.

Bugaboo New Release Tuesday

Hello and welcome to New Release Tuesday at Bugaboo Stamps!!!

Every Tuesday Jodie has new images in the Bugaboo Store, not just 1 or 2 images, but an entire series and/or bundle of images. This week she has come up with a set of Stella Red Hat Blocks. Stella is quite a character and I think she is perfect for the "hattitude"!!!!....She definitely has it!!!

Each of the Design Team members got 2 images from the new set to play with ahead of time for the preview today. Well, I loved both of these Stellas and her hats, so I decided to make a card with both of them. All of the images include Stella wearing a hat with a sentiment inside of a block. So, for my Stella peeking out in the lower right corner, I cut her out of her "block". All of the papers on the card are from the Taylored Expressions May Key Ingredients (which includes Pebbles Treehouse Dp). They are colored with Copics, and my "peeking" Stella has some Flower Soft on her hat and to try for the look of a fuzzy boa.

The Wild Flower Patch Fluttering with Card Patterns

Today I have a card I made with a beautiful digi stamp from The Wild Flower Patch. Her name is Poppy and I love her expression as she looks out her window at the flowers (& added butterfly)....she is truly an all time favorite of mine and I know I will put her to use quite a bit.

The image is colored with Copics, and then I cut out the window box and flowers several times so I could add dimension. I used pop-dots on the entire flower box and then the top row of flowers are popped up from there. I used supplies from my March Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients, everything but the Kaisercraft Pearls. The Dp is from the Crate Paper Brook line, and aren't those butterflies from the kit adorable??!!!

I actually made this card for 3 challenges!!! I usually make a card for only 1 or 2, but I was up very late last night ...and on the computer...so I found all 3 of these and thought it might work.

First, I used the card sketch from Card Patterns Sketch #65.

Second is the Challenge from The Wild Flower Patch to distress, which I did on all of the straight edges of my card.

Third is Flutter By Wednesday's #110, to use flowers with the butterfly.

Male Call!!!!!

Happy Saturday and Welcome to Bugaboo Stamps Male Call Challenge.!!!

This week we would like to challenge you to make a card using the Scrappy Sketch and also make it for a boy, guy, or man. We had such an amazing response for our last Challenge, I can't wait to see what you come up with this time. Remember , if you use a Bugaboo image you get 2 entries. Here is the sketch that our very own talented Scrappy has created for you to use.

My card for this challenge uses the image Bugaboo Brat Michael.....LOVE him!!! He is so cute in his camo pants listening to his ipod!!! I could never even think of ideas on "Guy" cards until I found the fabulous Bugaboo images!!! I still haven't tried the incredible Gus, but I hope that will be soon. I love Jodie's images so much and the rest of the Design Team is so inspiring, that male cards don't scare me so much anymore. I had a hard time following the great sketch exactly with my background stamp and sentiment (both Unity) but I am happy with the final result....hope you are too!!! I also LOVE how the sentiment has those little hearts on it...just like Jodie has on her images.

I really CAN'T WAIT to see every one of the cards you all will create because I always need Male Call ideas!!!

Taylored Expressions KI & Card Patterns 64

As soon as I received my May Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients I had to start to play. My 1st card did not achieve her challenge to us....make a card without stamping, so that will have to be next time. This kit is just so fun!!! I LOVE the Pebbles papers she chose, the colors are perfect for this time of year.

I've also been wanting to color these great digis from CC Designs, I think they work so well with this paper. So... when I found this sketch at Card Patterns....I thought it would all come together nicely.

The stamps I used are Spring Emma and Swing. I LOVE how digis can be resized to fit however you would like!! That's why I wanted this swing in a digital stamp....so I could make it fit with whatever I wanted. This is probably one of the fastest cards I have ever made. Between the great sketch and coordinating products from Taylored Expressions(even matching Copics) it was so fun and easy!!

Hello and welcome to Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps. Every Friday Jodie has 2 freebies to share in the Bugaboo Store (they will be available after 12:00-noon if they are not there when you go). The one I chose to share with you is this adorable little one named Boo, I LOVE her!!! She is so sweet with her teddy bear!!! I colored her skin and hair as best I could to resemble my daughter. You will also want to go to the Catch The Bug Blog to check out the other freebie and to get some great inspiration from the rest of the Design Team.

I really wanted Boo to stand out and be the center of attention on this card, so that is why I used so much white. She is colored with copics and spica markers, cut out with a spellbinders tag die, then matted with Doodlebug cardstock. The large flower die is from Quickutz to be used with the Epic 6, that piece was then embossed with a cuttlebug folder and then matted. The polka dot paper is Doodlebug also and the sentiment stamp is from Heidi Grace.

BRAVE GIRLS Friday with FLAIR!!!!

Hello Unity Friends With Flair,
so glad to be here again this week with you!!

I am so happy that I got to ink up this AMAZING BRAVE GIRLS set by Unity to share today!! This is such a fabulous stamp set, there are so many things I have rolling around in my head that I want to do with it.....the #1 being a BRAVE GIRL inspiration journal. I have come to a point in my life where there is no possibility that things can possibly get any worse. I am at a constant right now....things aren't getting better, I'm surviving , I am protecting my soul (one of the sentiments in the set) and this stamp set made me realize I am a BRAVE GIRL!!! It is very odd that a stamp set can teach you something about yourself, but this one has and I am very grateful for that. THANK YOU Unity and Brave Girls!!!!

Today I only had time for a card to share.......

I pulled out some of my old Basic Grey papers & buttons, then used the "background" be brave stamp to make one of the patterned papers. Then I combined the birds and come fly with me for the main image. All of the flowers were cut out of the Dp & the large one was paired with 3 coordinating buttons. I used a large spellbinders tag die, a fiskars border punch and all of the edges were distressed with ink. I hope my project did the set some justice.

Bugaboo ABC Monday

Happy Monday!!!

Mondays at Bugaboo Stamps means Anything But a Card. I decided to make something I've been wanting to do for quite a while. I started putting together an Inspiration Journal for my daughter. A journal where I will write inspirational quotes, add inspirational pictures and where I will document favorite memories I have of her. I plan on it being a constant work in progress, a place for her to come for that little pick me up we all need once in a while. I also plan on showing you more of this as it comes together, today is the very beginning.

The 1st time I saw this Bugaboo stamp & sentiment set I knew I wanted to use it for the cover of this journal. She is called Bugaboo Angel Anything is Possible. I found a 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 Kraft colored album at Michaels for .79 cents. I was able to take it apart and change the ribbon as desired. Right now there seems to be quite a bit of ribbon, but as it fills up and I add things I will need to loosen it.

Here is what I have done so far....

The Dp used here is Fancy Pants Kraft Kuts {this girl}, the cardstock is Bazzill. I colored my Angel with Copics and spica glitter markers. I printed the sentiment very lightly on cardstock and colored over it with a pink spica glitter marker. Decoart Glamour Dust was used on her wings and wand. The oval and square cutting dies are Spellbinders.

The inside pages are also kraft...which I LOVE....so I couldn't turn down this great mini album.

I used to be a mystery reader, but now I am all about the Love Stories. Versa Bug is reading a love story and that is why she has all of those hearts coming from her book.

My card is made with supplies from The Taylored Expressions Jan 2010 Key Ingredients, which includes the Basic Grey line Nook and Pantry. She is colored with Copics and on her wings I used Glamour Dust by DecoArt.

Bugaboo Flower Power Challenge

Hello and welcome to another Bugaboo Stamps Challenge!!
This week our theme is Flower Power.....however you would like to interpret that.
If you did not arrive here from the Catch The Bug Challenge Blog you should definitely go there for all of the Official rules and to find some AMAZING inspiration from my fellow very talented Design Team members.

Oh, and before I forget..... I want to remind you about Freebie Fridays at Bugaboo. Every Friday Jodie has some brand new stamps to preview....and she lets you "try before you buy" at the Bugaboo Store. This weeks freebies are some VERY CUTE sock monkeys that are very much worth trying as a freebie!!! I have seen some sock monkey stamps recently, but I must say I am partial to the cute ones Jodie has come up with. You will find some Friday Freebie Design Team examples at the Catch the Bug Challenge link above too.

For my Challenge Card today I chose to use the Bugaboo Brat Sean, I think he is so cute holding that flower behind him!!! I didn't want the card to be too girly with a boy stamp. But as I was coloring Sean I was reminded of a little boy named AJ I was a Nanny for for 6 1/2 years (I miss him SO MUCH!!! :( ) AJ new I loved flowers, and he would pick them and draw them for me. With that in mind, I didn't think this was too much....even if it was coming from a little boy.

The sentiment is from Unity and I LOVE it, but it is kind of hard to read. It says "may flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day". ALL papers and the flower center are from CTMH. All 3 die sets.... the ovals, the flowers and the tags are Spellbinders and Sean is colored with Copics.

This is definitely a challenge you should enter because Jodie is very generous to the winners....1st place receiving 7 bugaboo images!!! 2nd and 3rd place also receive images!! This time of year we can usually all come up with a Flower Power Card!!!

I'm so glad you came to visit today!!! As you can tell I love talking about (and creating with) Bugaboo stamps.

Unity Friends With Flair

I can't even tell you how happy I am to be back with my Unity Friends with Flair!!! I have been busy with other things for a while, but Fridays just aren't the same without all of that Unity goodness & eye candy.

You may also want to check out the incredible new release stamps in the Unity Store. My VERY Favorite is their collage set in collaboration with BRAVEGIRLS....it is a MUST SEE and absolutely perfect for me right now with some of the hurdles I've had to deal with.!!!

I can't wait to see some of the amazing projects the Unity crew and Friends come up with to show off this set.

For my card today I pulled out a beautiful stamp from the August 2009 Kit, following my heart. I love this amazing tree and paired with paper and embellies from the Dear Lizzy line by American Crafts. The only thing not from that line are the small flower brads by Making Memories.

New Release Tuesday!!!

Hello and Happy Tuesday!!!
It is a very happy Tuesday here because the weather is going to be gorgeous AND today is New Release day at Bugaboo Stamps!!! It is not just any NR day today, Jodie has 4 sets of New Releases today. Not just 4 stamps BUT 4 GROUPS of stamps. The cards The Team have to show you are just the beginning. When you go to the Bugaboo store and click on the images you like, you find a whole series of similar images to chose from.

My 1st card today features Bugaboo Angel Maggie, OH how I LOVE her!!!! Isn't she great??? This Digi comes with the beautiful sentiment too. She is DEFINITELY an all time favorite stamp of mine, and so much fun to color, I can't wait to see more!!!

For this card I colored my angel with Copics, outlined the sentiment with Spica markers and used Glamour Dust on her wings. Then I cut them out with my nesties, along with a mat/background for each. All of the papers here are from Close To My Heart and the border punch is Martha Stewart.

My next AMAZING release to share is from the new WEE One Fairies. I CONTINUE to be amazed with Jodie and how she comes up with all of these fabulous images. Again, not just one, but a whole series at a time. I have a feeling these new Fairies will also be some of my favorite go to to images. I've always loved Fairies and Angels, that is why I have been bursting at the seams to be able to show these off to everyone!!!

My Fairy is colored with Copics, her wings and the stars were colored with Spica markers also, but the sparkle doesn't show up in the picture. The large scalloped square die and scalloped border die are from Spellbinders. The sentiment stamp is CTMH. All papers and embellies are from Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients (either spring or easter??).

Tiddly Inks

Today I have a card to share with you that I made quite a while ago. This very cute digital stamp Annie is from Tiddly Inks. If any of you love Stamping Bella you may have some of the great rubber stamps by Christy Croll....My very favorite is Izzie. Well, Christy now has a wonderful digital stamp site also. Her paper craft planet group has 1,000 members in only 7 weeks, that has to be some kind of record....don't you think???

Her Tiddly Inks store, that I linked above, is just getting started but you should really check it out. She will soon be having a big sale and a blog hop. I have a link to her blog on my sidebar where you will find a lot more info, or you could click HERE if you would like info on getting in on the blog hop or checking out the Tuesday Challenge Blog.

I still have some of my Be Loved papers from My Mind's Eye(I am not tired of them yet) that I used here along with some coordinating cardstock. I popped up the book to add some dimension and made my own flower with some spellbinders flower dies. The sentiment is from Unity and Annie is colored with Copics.

Today is challenge day at Bugaboo's Catch The Bug Challenge Blog.
This weeks challenge is a theme and sketch challenge.

The theme is April Showers....April showers bring May flowers.....any way you would like to interpret that. And Scrappy also created a wonderful sketch for us to use.

Here is the card I created with the Bugaboo character Skelekinz, isn't she cute!?!? And the sentiment comes with her, I love it.....but then I can't stop singing the song....it's a song I like so that's OK.

The rest of the Design Team created some amazing cards you should check out at the link to the blog above. It's also interesting to see how different all of our cards are for the theme.

Bugaboo New Release Tuesday

Hello!!! Today is New Release Tuesday at Bugaboo Stamps!!!
Jodie has come up with some amazing new Earth Day images (I LOVE them all!!) along with some great Molly Moo images too!!! You can check them out here on the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and from there you can go to the store.

I chose this image today because my daughter is going to be holding up an Earth Ball at the end of a song in her spring concert on Friday. So, later I will have to use this image on a scrapbook layout. I also love this sentiment I found when I pulled out these Daisy Bucket, A Wondrous World papers.

This card is also for this weeks Challenge at Die Cuts R Us, where the Challenge is to use an earth or nature related element.

Digital Two For Tuesday

Today I have the honor of being Guest Designer on the great site Digital Two For Tuesday(click here). I found Cora's site some time ago while searching for vintage images. Every Tuesday she has free vintage images. I was very glad to make some cards with these images and took it as a challenge from my "normal" style. I had a hard time deciding what to do with these and instead of doing something new, I think I ended up using the images in my style, which is not what I intended, but is how they turned out. If you like vintage or just want to check out some beautiful images you should really go take a look at the site!!!

On this card I used papers and cardstock from CTMH, tag die is Quickutz, flower dies are Spellbinders and flower diecuts are Melissa Frances.

All supplies here are from Melissa Frances Fresh Twist Line. Tag and flowers dies are Spellbinders and border punch Martha Stewart.

Beautiful Bugaboo Freebies!!!

Hello Friends!!! I have been gone a while but am VERY glad to be back in stamping land!!! We went on vacation and the beginning was AMAZING (more on that later), but the end was not much fun. Things are finally back to normal and I am very happy to share a card with you today.

You may not know that Bugaboo Stamps has a Freebie Friday every week. Jodie, the owner and artist, offers 2 free images every Friday here on the Catch The Bug Challenge Blog. Yes, I am 1 day late, but I just had to share this cute Bee Bear with you. The images are available for 1 week so be sure to go check out what else is free this week.

Along with the Bugaboo image this card is made with products from the American Crafts Dear Lizzy line (all papers and ribbon). I fell in love with this line of products when I saw it!! Have any of you seen or used the fabric paper from this line?? It looks great. My digital image is colored with copics and the sentiment is from Unity Stamps. The 2 tag dies are Spellbinders and the border punch is from Fiskars.

I hope you like this card and image as much as I do and also hope you will return often to see more of these amazing Bugaboo Stamps that I will be sharing. There will also be a Challenge next Saturday the 24th.

I {HEART} Bugaboo Stamps!!!

Hello fellow stampers and Happy Saturday!!!

Today I have a spring card to share with you, I LOVE this cute bunny!!! AND I finally get to tell you my HAPPY news!!! I am one of the new members of the BUGABOO Stamps DESIGN TEAM!!! I can't begin to tell you HOW EXCITED I am to represent and work with their stamps!!! This TOO CUTE bunny is just the very beginning of the AMAZING Digi stamps that Jodie, the owner and designer, has in her store. I couldn't believe the amount of CUTE, BEAUTIFUL and literally LAUGH OUT LOUD funny stamps that I found there. If you have never been there you really have to go to the store and see for yourself (click here).

The team is having a color challenge this week, the colors are coral, kiwi and banana (or similar). This is what those colors inspired me to make. Color Challenges are not always my best and my daughter wasn't too sure about a "coral" easter bunny, but once I found my similar colors and put it all together she thought it was "pretty nice".....which is a good review from her!! Hello fellow stamping bloggers!! Today I have a card for the Challenge over at DIE CUTS R US, one of my very favorite online stores, they have a great blog with some great challenges too....just in case you've never been there. This week their challenge is a recipe challenge and here it is.....

I used the Amelia stamp from The Greeting Farms Happy Day set. The sentiment Happy Day is very appropriate for me this week!! I have some wonderful news that I will be able to share with you at the end of the week, YAY!!! So, you'll have to wait just a little bit for it.

Here's how I used the recipe challenge. 1 stamp already mentioned. The large circle and scalloped circle die cuts are Quickutz Cookie Cutter dies. The 2 pink jewels are Kaisercraft and the yellow is from Doodlebug. Ribbon from my craft supply.

Friday Full Of Flair

Hi,
I am still LOVING this Basic Grey Origins, I just can't get enough!!! Last week I pulled out one of my Unity wood mounted stamps to work with and that really started something. I've been looking at all of them with plans to come. Their large thin wood mounted stamps are actually the entire reason I was drawn to Unity in the first place, along with their unique handles that go along with them. I saw some new wood mounted stamps for sale so if you have never used Unity's you should really try them, they are very different than any other wood mount you will find and you don't have to buy their handles, but they do work better with them. This stamp is Scrappy Flower(I think??...I will check).

I paper pieced the leaves and flower. For the flower I added an extra layer underneath to add a little more dimension and for a little bit of the patterned paper flower look I like so much right now. All papers are Basic Grey Origins except for 2 coordinating pieces of prism cardstock.

I LOVE to see the under dogs beat the big guys(which has already happened 3 or 4 times yesterday)....except,of course, if it is my team. That's what I'll be doing, so the weather doesn't really matter anyway!!!

BUGABOO Stamps Sketch Challenge

Hello, today I have a card for a sketch challenge from Bugaboo Stamps, a digi stamp company with some GREAT stamps.

If you have never visited their store you should check it out here. I used one of their amazing freebie stamps on my card. Can you believe this amazing stamp was a freebie?? I LOVE IT!! I love the big Easter egg and really had fun coloring it.

I love the sketch too, nice and simple. It highlights the great image. Today we actually have LOTS of wonderful sunshine and I love it but it made some little shadows on my picture from all of the trees we have around.....sorry about that.

One of My Nicest Thoughts

Today I have a card for you that I did for two different challenges. The first is the Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge WFWC5 over on The Wild Flower Patch and the second is Card Patterns Weekly Card Sketch. Here is the sketch they provided.

This image is Valentine Lily from The Wild Flower Patch. I really like her ( love that crooked smile!!) and wanted to try her with something other than a Valentine. The sentiment stamp is Unity. For the Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge we were to use the colors red, black and white, I've always loved black and white with a touch of color. Sorry for the bad photo, I finished this at night and wanted to get it posted. Lily is colored with Copics, I covered up some hearts on the bottom of her dress with a black stripe to make it less like a Valentine so then I also made the collar black. The heart she is holding and her socks are colored with moonlight smooch. I used my Atyou Spica glitter markers on her shoes, eyes, eyelashes and barrette.

All of the rest of the supplies are from my Taylored Expressions Feb 2010 Key Ingredients (except the ribbon is from my supply). Here is what I came up with.

Unity Friday Flair with a Sketch

Hello and Happy Friday!!!
I'm so glad you came to visit today. If you just happened upon my blog you should go to the Unity Blog to see the list of participants for Friends with Flair. One of those blogs has a special blinkie, and if you leave a comment there you could win 25 random Unity stamps.

I have a card to share based on Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge( MTSC64) using a classic, wood mounted Unity tree. I never used to use sketches for my cards but lately I've really liked using them.

I am still loving this Basic Grey Origins paper and thought it would be great with this stamp. I was reading my latest PaperCrafts Magazine yesterday and saw so many cards with buttons that I decided to pull out my stash. I colored one of the clear buttons with a yellow copic marker and left the other 3 clear. Then I stamped the tree on 3 different patterned papers to put behind those buttons.

The Sugar Bowl

This week I decided to do a Challenge on The Sugar Bowl Sugar Nellie Challenge Blog for the first time. I saw this image a few months ago and just fell in love with it. So, when I saw their challenge this week I thought it would be perfect for this amazing stamp (DAISY). You can get to their challenge blog by clicking here. Here is the sketch for this challenge and it is to be used along with making a Shabby Chic style project.

So, here is my card....what do you think?? I LOVE making this kind of card and would like to do it every day, but they take me so long!! I am not the fastest cardmaker to begin with so I did this in 2 steps. I colored the image yesterday and put it all together today. The Dp here are the Prima Indeed line (love it!). I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist on every part of the card except the stamped image. On the purple areas I used timeless lilac and on the rest I used dazzling diamonds(my 2 favorites). It is very hard to see any glimmer on this very cloudy day here.I also used 2 different things on the edges to soften/distress. Some areas have white pigment ink and for some I used my BV08 Copic marker.

I am so happy you stopped in to see my card with this beautiful image from Sugar Nellie, a Scottish Rubber Stamp Company.....they have a lot of adorable images that are only available here .

H{ippity} Hopping Monday

Hello Monday Hoppers,

Today I made a quick spring card with the wonderful {ippity} set Just Wanted To Say.....
I had this Kraft cardstock I wanted to use but it was too dark. So I found my white pigment based ink and used a Unity background stamp and also inked the edges to soften it up a little bit.

Well, I'm not that really happy with how it turned out.....but I think it's OK for a thinking of you card.

Hello & happy Friday!!
Welcome to another Friday full of Unity and LOTS of FLAIR!!! Unity Stamps are so awesome that I think they bring out the flair or mojo or whatever you would like to call it, in a lot of us. On Fridays we get to share our love for Unity by posting projects using their stamps. I LOVE getting to see what everyone comes up with, how we can all make something completely different out of the same stamps.

Ready for Spring with a yellow dress!

Today I have a card I made for 2 challenges. The first is a Sketch Challenge at Die Cuts R Us and the 2nd is at Crazy 4 Challenges called It's all about Texture!, To create a project using at least 3 different textures.

Here is the sketch created by Lori from the Die Cuts R Us Design Team.

As I was looking through some old stamps I found this set of dresses, I have no idea who they are made by, so if any of you have an idea please let me know so I can give them credit. It is a set of 10 dresses on hangers. I have not used them much before, but now that I am using Copics they are lots of fun to color!!! I flipped the sketch to the side, used a Cuttlebug embossing folder on the dress mat and the scalloped pieces, added ribbon and a bow (made with the Bow- easy....LOVE it!!) and then made the flower using this tutorial I found on Lord Have Mercy! THANKS for taking a look at my yellow dress card!! It reminds me of my Senior prom dress, though now that I think of it...it snowed that night, a big snow storm in May!! It's not the only snow I remember in May here in Wisconsin.

The supplies used for this card are from Taylored Expressions January Key Ingredients, except for the pearls and the digital stamp. The bright sunshine was at the wrong angle when I took this picture because the pearls left shadows however I positioned the card....though I won't complain about the sunshine.

Friday Friends With FLAIR with some Artful Inkables

Hello and welcome to my Friends with flair contribution on this last Friday of February 2010, where does the time go???!!! If you just happened upon my blog today or are new to Friends With Flair Friday you should start by checking out the Unity blog here. There you will find a list of todays blogs with beautiful eye candy and it will tell you how you could win 25 Unity random stamps. If you find the special blinkie on someones blog be sure to leave a comment and you will have a chance to win.

My 1st card uses the tree stamp from Unity's Welcome Little Sprout set. I paper pieced the tree and also made it longer so it would fit right with the little scene I wanted to make. To do that I just stamped the trunk a few extra times, then cut it out, trimmed some of the pieces and glued them together. The reading girl and the sentiment stamp are from the Think Big set by Artful INKables and I created this card for their Think Ink Challenge#14 Naughty or Nice.... this card is nice.

Papers are Making Memories Garden Party line, the girl is colored with Copics and the small tag for the sentiment is from Spellbinders.

My 2nd card uses stamps from Unity's new Feb KOTM {Nothing but Blue Skies}. I LOVE this kit!!! It has SO MANY GREAT sentiments, I know I will find many uses for them for a very long time!!

Here the cardstock is Bazzill, Bling is from CTMH and the image is colored with my Copics. The Dp is Basic Grey's June Bug line, border punch is Martha Stewart and dies are Spellbinders.

Today it may not be so easy because my daughter is off from school and I don't like to spend our time on the computer. H{ippity} Hop Monday with Taylored Expressions

Happy H[ippity} Hop Monday!!! I have one card to share today, using my new {ippity} set Just Wanted to Say. I've loved this set for it's beauty and versatility ever since I saw it, and now thanks to Jen (She's an {ippity} chick and you can find her at Jen's Cup of Creations) and her awesome blog candy I get to play with this set myself.

When I saw what was happening over at Taylored Expressions I knew this was the perfect set for that project. So I decided to do their sketch Challenge too, here is the sketch to use for inspiration....

My card has the beautiful frame and Thinking of you stamp from the {ippity} set mentioned above. The dragonfly stamp is from Unity's Oct 2009 Kit where ever you go. The rest of the supplies are from the February 2010 Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients except for the bling (doodlebug) and the black scalloped cardstock strip (Bazzill). The ingredients this month are black and white (which I LOVE) with some complimentary colors that pop. The colors to "pop" are beautiful and I can't wait to play with it a little more. Hope you like what I came up with.

The dragonfly is on my card for a special reason. Taylored Expressions is having a dragonfly card drive for parents that have suffered the loss of a newborn child. When I was in college I worked as a nursing assistant in a birthing center, and I have helped take care of some families suffering this loss. I hope you have had a GREAT week and that you have been able to get some fun stamping time in. I am a very excited stamper this week because yesterday I found out I won the Artful INKables think INK Challenge. So, I won some of their stamps, YEAH!!! Winning stamps is always great, I have 3 of their sets that I LOVE, can't wait to get more!!

My card I have to share with you today is definitely related to my mood this week, but I didn't really realize it until it was done. Do you ever do that?? I picked the paper and stamps, put everything together and went WOW!! That's how I've felt this week. Here it is....

I have been REALLY wanting spring to come along, just like always at this time of the year, but this week has been bad. That explains the papers and all of the butterflies. I have also had some things happen that have reminded how important my family really is to me, they (especially my mom) have helped me through some very tough times and are always there for me. That explains the sentiment. Another wonderful family thing has been watching my cousin play on the USA Olympic Hockey team this week. My brother was in 3 summer Olympics and I was lucky enough to go to 2 of them. It is such an AMAZING thing, there is nothing like the Olympics. I LOVE seeing all of the different countries coming together peacefully. OK, sorry for my rambling today when there are so many fabulous stampers to visit. Artful Inkables Think INK Sketch Challenge #13

Today I decided to try a sketch challenge from Artful Inkables. I really liked the sketch when I first saw it, but when I pulled out the three sets of Artful Inkable Stamp Sets that I have I was having a hard time coming up with a card for this sketch.....I'm not sure why.? So, eventually I decided on using different stamps that I had planned and also decided to make a bookmark instead of a card. Here is the sketch

I've actually wanted to make a bookmark ever since I got these stamps, for my favorite all time book saga (and maybe some of yours too), Twilight. Here is how it turned out.

This bookmark is wider than the "standard" bookmark, but I like them that way. First, I must apologize for the very poor picture. I finished this at night and just could not get anything that looked well even with my Ott Light(that usually works for me).I actually ended up using all 3 sets of Artful Inkable stamps that I have on this. The books stamp is from the Think Big set, the sentiment and fangs are from Fictionally Inspired and the feathers paper pieced on the top book are from Into the Moonlight.
I used my set of I {HEART} Twilight Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist that I won back in November, which I love ,and helps it shimmer and shine.....but I think that also made the picture more difficult at night, it really is beautiful in person. I may try taking another picture during daylight. So , the red papers are white cardstock covered in Candy Apple Red Glimmer Mist. The red printed paper and the black and white paper are from Making Memories. The books and feather images are colored with Copics. Instead of tearing the bottom piece of paper I chose to use a Martha Stewart Border Punch and the square dies are from Spellbinders.
I stamped the fangs in red ink after I sprayed the cardstock with glimmer mist, hope you can see that. Then when everything else was done, I sprayed the entire bookmark with Dazzling Diamonds glimmer mist, can you tell that I LOVE that stuff???

Can you believe that it wasn't until very recently that I got my 1st Stamping Bella stamp?? Well, I love them and am so glad I got them in time for this hop!!! I chose to make my card with Ella Lollipop because I just couldn't wait to color her, and here is what I came up with.

Isn't she Sweet?!? I know you've seen her MANY times...I have too. But she is just so cute!! OK, on to my recipe. All papers and embellishments are from Making Memories Love Story line, Except for the red foil. That is from Spellbinders along with 1 oval and 2 scalloped oval dies and the border punch is Martha Stewart, she is colored with copics.
In addition to the FABULOUS eye candy throughout the hop, Stamping Bella has decided to hide a prize somewhere along the hop. Another Unity Friday Full of Flair!!!

Welcome to my friends with Flair and other fellow stampers, Thanks so much for visiting today. I have one card to share with you today that has some beautiful Unity stamps on it. I also used the sketch from this weeks Taylored Expressions sketch Challenge.

To create my card I used Taylored Expressions January Key Ingredients for all of my papers. Included in that kit are the Basic Grey Nook & Pantry Dp. The sentiment and image stamps used are from Unity's The Artist In You set by Donna Downey. Here is how it turned out.

I took this image at night with my Ott Light and just couldn't get a great picture. I usually have the problem of my sparkle not showing but here I have the opposite. I heat embossed the image by stamping first with Versamark Dazzle in Champagne, Then I used Chocolate Sparkle embossing powder by Sparkle & Sprinkle. As you can tell it has LOTS of sparkle....which I love, but it does look much better in person. I also used spellbinders dies for the large rectangles, and a quickutz die for the scalloped circle. On the bottom of the striped paper I used a Martha Stewart border punch.

Pure Innocence Valentine

Today I am sharing a card with you that I made for some challenges, the sketch I used is from the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.
This is the 1st time I have done this challenge and I thought it was a great sketch. Here is my card.....

I was so excited to find that you can get some of the Pure Innocence stamps as Digis, I just happened upon a blog where someone had used one for a card. Here is where you can find them, they are made by Heather Ellis. I think they are all JUST SO ADORABLE, it is very hard to pick, but I really liked this one for my cards.

Hello H{ippity} Hoppers

Happy Monday to you, hope you have a nice week ahead.

Today I have another Valentine card to share with you. I know the {ippity} challenge is a birthday card but right now I have my valentine supplies out. My crafting stuff is pretty unorganized and I didn't want to make it worse....I have enough to reorganize as it is. When I started with this card I had a different vision in mind. I wanted a collage type card with an {ippity}/Unity heart tree. Which is what this is, yet I am not very happy with the results. To me it looks more like a card made by a child, oh well. Next time will be much better. Sometimes my crafts mirror how I am feeling and lately my health problems have been REALLY bad. I'm sure checking out all of the H{ippity} Hopping blogs today will help me get my mojo back(I REALLY HOPE!!!).

All of the stamps here are from Unity or {ippity}. The background is Hearts of old, the tree is from Giggle Grove...the original set, wood mounted. The sentiment and small hearts on branches are from Love Grows. The heart on top of the tree is from you + me= happy, and the two hearts on both sides of the tree are cut out from the heart in the {ippity} set Life's Little Moments. Here is how it turned out.....

Fluttering By with Unity Friends with FLAIR!!!

Welcome and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Hello to my Unity Friends and also to any new friends from Flutter By Wednesday, this is my 1st project for their wonderful challenge blog. I used an image and sentiment from Unity's January KOTM ...savor the journey. There are so many wonderful stamps in this kit it's hard to pick what to use. So, I actually picked my papers 1st, which I usually don't do, and went from there. Then, I realized these papers had some beautiful butterflies, and I have been wanting to join in at Flutter By Wednesday. Here is what I came up with.

I have been feeling just a little bit slow lately, so I had to use this sentiment, I love it with the snail and mushrooms!!!

2nd Day of Rusty Pickle Digi New Releases

Hello to my fellow stampers and Happy Tuesday!!!

Today is the 2nd day of our Rusty Pickle Digi's new releases and I have a card to share with you. I chose this beautiful coneflower image to preview, It reminded of the beautiful purple coneflowers I used to have at my old house. It also looks a lot like the Black Eyed Susans I had in that same flower garden. I know different people have different names for some of the same flowers, this is just what I have always called the purple and/or yellow flowers like these in the card.

I pulled out a package of Bazzill monochromatic purples for this. The image is colored with copics and the Atyou Spica markers with the BEST sparkle. Close to the center of the flowers I also used some Smooch Pearlized ink in Grape Soda. Two of the paper pieces are embossed with a Cuttlebug folder, the tag and oval dies are Spellbinders and the border punch is from Martha Stewart. That cute little thank you sentiment stamp with the tiny heart inside the O is from Heidi Grace.

The shine and sparkle of the image does not show well in a picture, but it looks great in person. Some of the other ladies on the Design Team have cards to share with you today, I will be back with that list in a bit. 1st Day of New Releases at Rusty Pickle Digital Delights

Hello and Happy Monday!!
Today I am so glad to show you my creation made with one of the beautiful new releases from The Rusty Pickle Digital Delights.
We are going to have 3 days of new releases and today is only the 1st. We have some wonderful floral images to share with you. I made my card using this new digi

I wanted to do something with this image that I can only do very easily with a digital image. I printed the image out on my cardstock for coloring, then printed it on the green cardstock. After that I resized it so that it was a little smaller than the 1st one and printed a few of those to be colored also. I decided to make a little "bouquet" with the image and cut out three of the smaller flowers after they were colored and added them with pop dots to give them some dimension. Then as I cut the images with my Spellbinders dies I made sure to line them up so the stems would match the way I wanted the dies positioned on the card. Here is my end result

The papers, cardstock, sticker and ribbon are all from Close To My Heart. I colored the flowers with copics, the pearls are Kaisercraft and I used a Martha Stewart border punch.

Hello an Happy Friday!!! Welcome all the friends with stampin FLAIR brought to you By Unity Stamp Co. I have 2 cards to share today. Both of my cards use the very popular My Mind's Eye Be Loved paper line along with coordinating cardstock from Prism.

My 1st card is from a sketch I found on Splitcoast Stampers. I used stamps from 2 different Unity sets. The flower and flower pot are from the Treasure To Me set and the sentiment is from Best Wishes & Blooms. I LOVE these sets, there are so many different options with them and even more when you mix & match!!!
The 2nd card has 2 stamps from different sets also. The floral image is from the Dec KOTM Delightful Moments and the sentiment is from Spring Unity. Here I used some Spellbinders dies, a Martha Stewart border punch and some stickles to add just a little sparkle.

The Greeting Farm CHA Relay Day #2

I'm doing the CHA Relay over on The Greeting Farm this week and their galleria is down because there are SO MANY people making cards with their digi images. So, I needed to post this here today to get the next image.

This is Charlotte and I paired her with some CTMH papers and an old stamp of mine from Leave Memories(the Diva set), I thought it was just perfect for her. Sorry my papers are a little crooked!!! I was doing homework with my daughter and noticed what time it was!!! I jumped up and had to quickly put it together because I lost track of time and I didn't want to miss the next awesome image. Luckily I already had her colored and ready(I used Copics and Atyou Spica markers).

Since I had to post here I thought I would also share my card from the 1st day of the relay, his name is MerIan. He is also colored with copics and atyou spica markers. I found my summertime papers and embellies from CTMH and Me & My Big Ideas. It's Tart & Tangy Tuesday with The Rusty Pickle Digital Delights Design Team!!

Hello and happy Tuesday!! I'm so happy to be doing my 1st Tart and Tangy Tuesday with The Rusty Pickle Digital Delights Design team!! The challenge this week is to make a card with a Rusty Pickle Digital Image and also use the colors Cameo Coral, Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue. These colors are from Stampin Up! and if you don't have them you can use whatever you have that is closest, which is what I needed to do. After my 3 years with Close To My Heart I have cardstock that I tried to match. Here is what I came up with as an example....

My image is called a Castle For Any Princess and I fell in love with it right away!!! It's so different than other stamp image castles I've seen, so I had to have it right away. With the colors this week I decided to make a little scene with a blue sky and a green rolling meadow. The green is actually cut from a Quickutz cloud border die that I flipped and made into grass.
The blue sky is embossed with a cuttlebug folder for texture and the tag is a Quickutz die also. I colored my image with Copics and Atyou Spica glitter markers and some of the parts are paper pieced with the pink paper covered with the glitter markers. It sparkles much better in person.
The two word stamps are Unity, the flocked rub on is Heidi Swapp and the rectangle tags are spellbinders.

H{ippity} Hopping Monday with Some FUN Digi News!!!

Back to the beginning of another week and I'm SO glad to be H{ippity} Hopping with those of you like me, at home wishing I could be at CHA.....someday we will get there if we really want to!!!.
I have done a few of these H{ippity} hops and I am amazed at the versatility of these stamps(though we know I shouldn't be, because they are a division of Unity). I only have 2 of their sets and can find quite a few uses for them AND I haven't even used them on any layouts yet. While looking at my stamps this week, this Valentine idea came to mind, although it really wouldn't have to be a Valentine.

Here I used bazzill cardstock, Heidi Grace and Doodlebug Dp, a Quickutz die cut tag and the embellishments are from my supply. There are 3 {ippity} stamps here. The heart and journaling tag are from Life's Little Moments and the sentiment is from Simply Home. The large polka dot paper is flocked and shimmery but doesn't show well on this picture...I LOVE the feel of it.

Now for my news. Around new years I was thinking that I would like to get into the Design Team world...... after having this blog for quite a while, loving to visit other stamping blogs and leaving lots of comments where I find beauty and inspiration.....I think it is just SO MUCH FUN!!! I also love meeting people with this same passion of mine. I asked Jessica Diedrich, the brand new Unity ROCK STAR, for some advice and soon found myself a digital Design Team. I am SO EXCITED for this new adventure and look forward to meeting many more people with the same addiction and have lots of fun.

I am now a member of The Rusty Pickle Digital Delights Design Team. I have created a list on my sidebar of the wonderful and talented ladies I am joining, be sure to check out their blogs when you have a chance. Unity Friends With Flair Friday

Hello and happy Friday to all of my Unity friends out there or anyone else just stopping in!!!
Today I have 2 cards to share with you, made with some of my newer stamps that needed some attention. The first card uses 3 stamps from the Unity December KOTM delightful moments. Isn't that hot air balloon GREAT!!!!??? The papers are all from CTMH, I colored parts of the balloon with Copics, the pearls are Kaisercraft and cutting dies are Spellbinders.

For my second card I used Cardstock, Dp, ribbon and coordinating Copics from Taylored Expressions Valentine Key Ingredients. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Be Loved paper from My Mind's Eye....as many of you do too....because I have been seeing it all over the place. I have 2 Unity stamps here, the flowers are from Best Wishes & Blooms and the Joy definition is from Treasure To Me. I also used a Fiskars border punch, Spellbinders dies and flower bling from CTMH that I colored with my Copics.

...Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #57 (MTSC57)

This week I decided to try out my first Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge. On January 1st I was lucky enough to get one of the limited supply stamp sets Happy Day by The Greeting Farm. Oliver and Amelia are Anya & Ian's new friends that will be officially released in March 2010. Well, my daughter is a HUGE American Girl Doll fan and these stamps look VERY similar to her Bitty Baby twins (actually Quadruplets, 2 boys & 2 girls...thanks to birthday, Grandma & Santa 2 years ago) that she LOVES and plays with ALL THE TIME!!! I decided it was time to go out of my element and make a boy card and I used this sketch as a guide to do that.
Here I used papers from My Mind's Eye, colored the image with Copics, used a Fiskars border punch, the dinosaur is Quickutz and other cutting dies are Spellbinders.
I didn't put a sentiment on the front of the card but thought it would make a nice boy birthday card, with the sentiment on the inside.

I hope you like my contribution to my 1st Mercy's sketch challenge, it was a fun card to make. I LOVE these sweet new friends of Anya and Ian and can't wait to show you how I've colored up Amelia. I also have a layout page in the works with the 4 dolls and 4 images....again, reliving my not-so girly girl childhood.

Pixie Dust Studio Pixie Challenge

This week the Pixie Dust Challenge #4 is to make a shaped card. I chose to make mine in the shape of a flower, using a stencil that I have. I LOVE this super SWEET digital fairy image I found at Pixie dust studio. I guess I was drawn to the ETSY store by their name. I LOVE all things fairies and pixie dust, I think I'm trying to make up for my childhood when I wasn't a "girly girl".
This didn't turn out quite as I hoped, maybe I just don't like the distressing I did on the edges, I'm not sure. I colored her with copics first and then used my favorite twinkle markers...Atyou Spica. I wanted her to sparkle as much as possible...she is a fairy after all!!!
My closeup shows the sparkle a little bit better in some of the areas. All papers and the epoxy circles used here are from SEI, the cutting dies are Spellbinders and the ribbon is from my supply.

CPS 150.......I LOVE this {ippity} tree!!!

Happy H{ippity} Hop Monday to all of my {ippity}/Unity friends and welcome to my 1st CPS sketch challenge card also!! I've had this idea in my head for a card with my favorite {ippity} tree and as soon as I saw this CPS sketch it was finally complete. Here is the CPS sketch...

And here is what I came up with....

Then a close up of that great tree from the {ippity} Simply Home set.

To emboss this image I stamped with versamark dazzle champagne and heat embossed with super fine detail gold embossing powder from Ranger. All papers are from the jillibean soup Cream of Mushroom line and die labels are Spellbinders.

The Wild Flower Patch

Today I would like to tell you about a new store that I found, it's called the Wild Flower Patch. I LOVE the stuff I made from there so much I put one of their badges on the right side of my blog, in case you just HAVE to have something you see. The items I got are all digital, one image and two of their Perfect Presentation Templates. Here is the 1st one I made....

This is called the My Little Bag Template and I LOVE it!!!! I have some digital templates from other places that come with ONLY the template. These come with complete instructions, extra templates for the side and top pieces....so you don't have to measure the odd shapes or guestimate the size of your Dp....and this one has an extra template for an additional gift card holder to put inside. These were the easiest cardstock bags or boxes I've made. Luckily my printer will print on cardstock, otherwise you just have to make a pattern with printer paper. I just need a magnet or some velcro to hold the one side shut, but I was able to tuck the flap in without any problem.

Both projects I'm showing you use the My Mind's Eye be loved collection with coordinating Prism cardstock. The love postage stamp is from Unity's Jan 2009 kit love etc... and all die cuts are from Spellbinders.

Now for my 2nd project....

I'm not sure which of these I like better but I would lean towards this one because it has THE CUTEST image on it.....don't you agree???? Her name is Valentine Lily and she ALSO comes with options. There is the one on my Bag It Up Perfect Presentation Template and there are two more that have different sayings on the Valentine she is holding. This template has options too. The top can be a handle if you want, I just chose to punch mine and tie with a ribbon to see how it would look. You can also have a window in the front if you want.

I colored Lily with my Copics and tried to have her coordinate with this amazing paper. I used my Atyou Spica glitter markers on her shoes, the valentine, some random hearts, her eyes and eyelashes. I LOVE her little half smile. The oval and flower dies are Spellbinders. I hope you like her half as much as I do. The Wild Flower Patch has other great images like her so go check them out(all you have to do is click on their badge on the right), with digital stamps you get them right away!!! It's GREAT!!! I found some of the CUTEST Thanksgiving images... I may have to use them to scrap our incredible Thanksgiving vacation to New York City. My brother was an incredible host and he, at the very least, should have a mini book of our time there and how much it meant to us, most of all my daughter.

More leftovers and Friends with FLAIR!!!

I decided to make another project with my Christmas/Holiday leftovers for the DIE CUTS R US leftovers challenge. I found enough of Jillibean Soup's Grandmas Christmas Soup collection to make this card. I paired it with the paper pieced Unity tree and sentiment from the Unity Dec KOTM {delightful moments} to create this 1st card. It seems to be a bit busy for me, probably because I was trying to use up the paper. All cutting dies are Spellbinders, which I love to play around with.

Leftovers......for DIE CUTS R US

This week we are suppose to make a new creation from our leftovers of Christmas/Holiday papers and here is what I came up with.

I looked through my papers and found I had enough of the My Minds Eye Colorful Christmas collection to make a nice card. The stamp is a new Wild Sprout from The Greeting Farm which I happened to get in the mail today from DIE CUTS R US, her name is Stella and isn't she precious!!! I colored her with Copics, the ribbon and all Dp is from the Colorful Christmas Collection mentioned above. The cardstock is Bazzill and the cutting dies (embossed and colored frame, labels and flowers) are all Spellbinders.

I made this card for the Club Anya & Friends Saturday Sketch challenge. Here is the sketch we used.

I used this stamp from the Miss Anya Love collection. I colored her with my favorite combination of copics and atyou Spica markers. The papers, hearts and butterfly are from SEI's Jolie Chocolat collection (I think it is SO pretty). The oval dies are spellbinders, the love die and the scalloped circle are from Quickutz. Isn't she sweet?? Perfect for a Valentine. I just LOVE the incredible "people" stamps from The Greeting Farm!!! They are so much fun to color with copics!!

Hello and happy Monday to all you stampers out there. Today I made a Valentine for the H{ippity} Hop. I pulled out my very favorite of all time Basic Grey line BLUSH for this card, did you know they have fabric that matches this line now?? It is beautiful and I am working on some projects with it that I hope to share soon.
This card has 2 {ippity} stamps, the bracket and heart on the right side. They are both from the Life's Little Moments set. The 2 stamps on the card are from the Love Grows Set from Unity. All papers and fibers are Basic Grey. Ink is Unity.

DIE CUTS R US Color Challenge

This afternoon as I was checking my blog dashboard list of blogs I came across one announcing a Design Team Call for the store DIE CUTS R US. I knew I had been to the store and Design Team Blog before and remember seeing some beautiful, inspirational projects. So I saw this great color challenge and decided to try it.... and I liked it so much I even decided to apply for the Design Team. I use most of the items they sell regularly and I love them all. The challenge is to take inspiration from the colors they use in their banner below and to create something based on that inspiration.

Here is what I created. I took a look in my stash after looking at the colors and found this paper from an old kit I still had, all of the paper is Collage Press. I used the new Chelsea Wild Sprout from The Greeting Farm and colored her with copics and atyouSpica glitter markers. When I finished coloring I decided I wanted to paper piece her dress instead. The sentiment stamp and frame are from Unity. All die cut shapes are Spellbinders.

2010 NEW YEAR Followers???!!

Hello,
One of my resolutions this year was to add a followers list here on my blog. I follow so many blogs and love to scroll through my dashboard to check out the new posts. I find SO MUCH inspiration reading the blog entries.
Then I thought that maybe(???) there are people out there that might get some inspiration from some of my projects. SO, if you like what you see here you can click on the follow me button on the right sidebar.
Right now I have a certain number in mind, and if/when I reach that number I will have some very nice blog candy to give away to someone picked at random(it will include some never used stamps, and you will pick between a few different styles). The number is not high, it is just a lucky number of mine. I will update on that as we get closer to the number and I have absolutely no idea how long it will take.

Sparkle Challenge by Club Anya & Friends

Here's another card I made for one of the New Years challenges over at Club Anya and Friends. I continue to practice coloring, using the markers from the monthly Copic Club at Paper Maniac(if you are interested in just trying copics I highly recommend this club, I have a blinkie you can click on over to the right). Lately I have been working on different skin and hair colorings. Around here we have different skin coloring and it also changes in the summer, so I'm trying to figure out which markers work best. I'm also trying to figure out what I like for our dark brown hair with either red or lighter brown highlights. The skin color on this card turned out darker than I wanted but I still like the look.
I LOVE to add sparkle to my images using the atyou spica twinkle markers over my copics. Here is a close up of her. I also used

CLUB ANYA & FRIENDS 2010 New Years Black Tie Challenge

Over at the New Club Anya and Friends blog they listed a challenge every hour yesterday, to celebrate the new blog and 5 new releases. I've made 2 cards so far (you have until tomorrow eve) and have one I want to share with you now. It is definitely my favorite card I've made in a while. It might have something to do with Edward being on it but I do like black and white quite a bit also.

The patterned papers and circle die cut are from tinkering ink, the silver paper is DCWV, the bling and die cut scallops are Doodlebug, circle scallop die is Quickutz, oval dies are Spellbinders. He is colored with copics. I used my I {HEART} TWILIGHT set of glimmer mists from Tattered Angels for the rest of the coloring. His background is candy apple red, I used cinder and dazzling diamonds on the colored scallops. Then when it was all done I used dazzling diamonds (named after Edward) to give the entire card some great sparkle.

Hello all,
Hope you are having a wonderful Holiday Season!! I wanted to share my favorite gift that I made this year (for my mom). She likes Santa Clauses and when I saw this paper, this framed picture idea popped into my head. I LOVE the look of him too and plan to make one for us, maybe in the middle of summer when I'm not over loaded with Christmas stuff.

I love these "floating frames", but this is very hard to take a nice picture of...it looks so much better in person. The papers and embellies are from the Bo Bunny St Nick Collection. The red stickers are Making Memories and I used Mod Podge Sparkle for adhesive and to add a little sparkle.

I {HEART} 7 GYPSIES!!!!

I won some blog candy from 7 Gypsies that I wanted to share. They were VERY generous with this package!! It contains an ATC spinner and all the fixins for it. I can't wait to turn it into a home decor piece with a combo of stamped ATC's and photos, I will definitely share it with you when it is done. It may take a while, but it will get done.

H{ippity} Hop!!!

Hello and happy H{ippity} Hopping Monday. This is my 1st {ippity} blog hop and I'm so excited to see all of the wonderful creations by all of the incredible {ippity} girls. Sorry if my post is late, I wasn't sure what time things got started and my daughter has a late start at school every Monday (9:15 first bell). Here is my project for today. This quote is an absolute favorite of mine, especially in the last 2 years. We have had to downsize from a 3 bedroom full basement duplex condo home to a 2 bedroom apartment. Though I've worried about my daughter (of course) and how things would affect her....she is still in the same school she has been in since Kindergarten....this quote is SO TRUE for us. There is so much love between us that it really doesn't matter where we live and what we have, or don't have, as long as we are together.

The Last Unity Friends with Flair Of 2009!!!

Hi to all of you wonderful friends!! I can't believe it's the last FWF of the year, where did it go?? I never really understood that saying when I was a kid, but ever since had my daughter.... time is speeding up.

Today I took a break from my gift making to bring you more classic Unity that I have not used in a while.
This wonderful bird is from Unity's January 2009 Kit, love ETC. The sentiment is from their May 2009 kit ....another sweet day. I LOVE looking back at my Unity stash of stamps and I ALWAYS find multiple ideas to choose from, especially the past kits of the month....which I have been getting since Sept 2008. I am so happy to be doing my very 1st Club Anya Blog Hop with my 1st Anya stamp. I chose the wonderful Angel Anya, I just love her. The base of my card is real wrapping paper, I've never tried that before and this one may have been a little too shiny for the photo by our Christmas tree.
Angel Anya is colored with copics and atyou spica glitter markers(she sparkles like Edward). There are some clear glitter snowflakes in the upper left corner that are very hard to see. SO SORRY for this bad photo, I didn't get done in time for enough natural light. The joy and snowflake chipboard are from Creative Imaginations and the ovals and pendant die cuts are spellbinders. A Frigid Unity Friends with Flair Friday

Welcome Unity Friends with Flair and Happy Friday!!! SORRY for this horrible picture but it has been such a bad morning I don't even know where to begin...I'm actually lucky I even got my card onto the computer the way things have been going.!! I actually really like my pink sparkly snowman card and I'm sad I can't get a better picture right now....oh well, maybe(hopefully) later.

I made this card with the beautiful snowman from the Unity November store kit {Believe in fairytales}. The dp, sheer flower, button and ribbon are from the pink Christmas card kit I got from dream designs by iralamija ( I love her designs and her store). I stamped and embossed the snowman but wasn't happy with it yet so then I covered the more solid areas with Pixie Dust Shimmerz Blingz. The tag with border is from Quickutz, the scalloped oval and snowflakes are from spellbinders, embossing folder is cuttlebug, glitter is Martha Stewart and bling is from CTMH.

Elzybells Seeing Stars Challenge

Today (or yesterday already) I made a card for the Elzybells "seeing stars" challenge...to make a project using stars. I recently started coloring with copics and I've had my eye on ALL of the Elzybells stamps I've ever seen, so I decided it was time to try some. I just love this reindeer, bird and stars stamp!! I don't have enough shades of copics to make a nice reindeer yet so I used some different shades of my LYRA skin tone colored pencils, it is definitely nothing like copics!! I outlined the reindeer in my chocolate atyou spica twinkling marker, the dots on it's back are colored in with moonlight smooch, I used the gold atyou spica for the stars. The die cuts are spellbinders, the bird is colored with copics, I random stamped the large star on the background paper and then added Basic Grey rub ons to make them pop a little better. The chipboard star, bubble wonder sticker and bling are from my craft supplies.

Hello and Happy Friday to all!! Thanks for stopping by today to see my creation. Once again, I used some beautiful images from the incredible Unity November Store Kit. This card gave me more practice with my Copic Club from Paper Maniac "homework".
So the image is colored with Copics and outlined with the beautiful sparkly atyou Spica Pitch black marker (doesn't show the sparkle too well here). All papers are from Close To My Heart's Discovery collection, the die cuts are from spellbinders and my new fav border punch is Martha Stewart.

Being that today is FINALLY the day for NEW MOON....10:30 am here, I wanted to share this picture of my daughter and her new Jacob poster (she liked Taylor before he was cast as Jacob) that she got for her birthday. I have a feeling all of us fans are going to be VERY HAPPY as we walk out of the movie....Have fun all you Twihards!!!

Today I have a card I did for my very first challenge with Copic Buzz, actually my very first card using Copics. I recently found a copic club at the store Paper Maniac, I received my first copics 1 week ago today(there is a paper maniac blinkie to the right). Then I found Copic Buzz, a challenge site, while doing some searching about the markers and different techniques....of course, I love them. We are suppose to make a card using this sketch. The challenge is sponsored by The Pixie Cottage but I do not have any of their images, so I had to choose my own.
So here is mine. The 2 stamps are from Unity's November Store kit {Believe in Fairytales} and the papers are Imaginisce. Of course the markers are copics. The scallop "beads" are Quickutz, the labels are Spellbinders, and I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

Today is another wonderful Friday full of Unity eye candy from their friends with flair!! I want to take the time to say how much I LOVE checking out all of your creations on Fridays as they are always full of inspiration. I made two cards this week with leftovers from a card kit I got from Create My Keepsake last year. Unfortunately they are no longer in business, I LOVED their kits. My first card uses the flower stamp from Unity's hodge podge of happiness set and my second card uses their serenity tree.

Hello and happy Friday!!! I made 2 cards for today. Both of them use Unity's October Store kit and all other supplies (paper, ink,border sticker) are from Close to My Heart. The snowman card was made with 2 Quickutz dies, the nesting ornaments and the beads borders.That little snowflake stamp fit perfectly on those bead borders, I almost forgot the stickles I used to add a little snowflake bling. For my first card I decided to get going on some Halloween things(finally!!). I got a few Halloween stamps from Unity last year that I LOVE and was so glad to pull them out!! This card uses the quote 'tis near Halloween and the moon with spider is from unlucky 13. Patterned papers are from cosmo cricket and pink paislee.

My 2nd card uses beautiful patterned papers from Basic Grey Indian Summer. I used the leaves stamps from Unity's Oct store kit, the flourish frame is from their July KOTM a pocket full of... and the quote is from birdie inspiration.

Today I decided to stick with the theme from yesterday's design team and use the Unity Oct kit for scrappers U.R.(...etc). I made This layout to celebrate my brother's birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CURT!!!! AND to thank him for all of the work he did to get my daughter and I moved to our new place. He worked non-stop for three days!!! There are not words to describe how thankful I am to have such a wonderful brother and uncle for my daughter. This layout is 9x9 and almost everything I used is from the Oct kit. The stamped circle image on the bottom is from Unity's Sept scrappers kit Le Chic Vintage. the chunky glitter is doodlebug and the chipboard frame is from tattered angels. I am so glad to be back for my 2nd Friends with Flair Friday!!! I love that Unity supports their customers in this way!! I can't believe I found them just over a year ago...time flies!!!! This week I have a wedding card for my cousin getting married tomorrow (I am also making a mini album and hope to show that later). The front and inside left of this card has stamps from September's go ahead wish kit. The inside right cake and sentiment are from Unity's Hodge Podge of Happiness. Papers are all from Making Memories wedding line, bling is Kaisercraft, I also used Liquid Pearls in silver and glitter from Sparkle and Sprinkle. I use my spellbinders dies so much I almost always forget to mention them. The small card was made by my daughter to match my card and the mini album.

SO Thankful

Yesterday I received my Unity Sept Store Kit everything extraordinary and I had to ink it up right away. I love this thankful stamp and wanted to use it first. I recently needed A LOT of help moving and some very special people stepped up and did most of the work.... as my body/back prevent me from doing it myself. There really are no words to express how thankful I am to them, so a handmade card will have to do.
All of the stamps are from Unity as well as the ink (from their Sept scrappers kit le chic vintage). All papers are from Bo Bunny's Delilah collection. For the oval diecuts I used spellbinders dies as well as for the scalloped edge (5 1/2 " fancy scalloped border pierceabilities).

Welcome to my blog and Happy Friends with Flair Friday!!! I am so happy to be back to these Fridays after a break that was WAY too long.

Today I have a card I made with my new Unity Le Chic Vintage Kit for Scrappers. As soon as I opened up my kit and saw the stamps I used today I got my idea for this card. I just love the quote with the "ruler". The patterned papers are Cosmo Cricket and also from the kit as well as the Unity ink. I used the Unity background stamp worn music, cardstock is Bazzill, brads and ribbon Close to My Heart.

I haven't posted any artwork lately because I've been busy trying to reorganize/organize my craft supplies. Because of my need to downsize my living situation I need to sell MANY of my craft supplies. A few years ago I was a consultant for Close To My Heart and during that time I accumulated many of their MY Acrylix stamp sets. I have not been able to work at all for a few months and would like to keep my daughter in the same school that she(we) have loved for the past 3 years. Happy HIP HOP HANGOVER FRIDAY!!!

Today I decided to try a few new things for my card. I found some canvas looking fabric and sprayed it with tattered angels glimmer mist, then stamped over that with one of my fav Unity sets Birdie Inspiration. All papers and diecut border sticker are Basic Grey Porcelain.

It has been an absolute beautiful day here so far. I was on a field trip with my daughter's 2nd grade class this morning to the UW Arboretum, that place is beautiful any day. We had a lot of fun there and the trees are amazing. I took pictures, of course, and can't wait to scrap them with some of my equally beautiful Unity trees.

Unity Monochromatic Challenge USGDC02

Here's my layout I did for the Unity Stamp Co. July KOTM Guest Designer Challenge. The rules were to use the April or May Kit and have your project be monochromatic. I thought it would be the perfect time to pull out this picture of my daughter and her friend that I've been wanting to scrap. I used the Unity May Kit...another sweet day for all stamps except for the parenthesis, that is from Unity's Amazing Me! set. I chose to use some of my Close To My Heart papers in Hollyhock (I used cardstock and B&T papers of the same color) and also used CTMH ink in Hollyhock. I stamped the Heidi Swapp chipboard letters with one of the decorative stamps from the May Kit also. The flowers are also from CTMH and I inked them up with some of that matching ink too. THANK YOU for visiting my blog today. For now I have one card to share since I forgot I had an appointment this morning. I should be back later with more to share. My card has the flower, sentiment stamp and corner flourish from the May kit ...another sweet day, the butterfly is from the Dec kit little reminders. ALL stamps are from Unity, of course. The scallop strip is from Quickutz and the nested ovals are from Spellbinders. All cardstock is from Close To My Heart (watermelon, hydrangea and sunkiss yellow). The images are colored with my new atyouSpica markers, I LOVE them and the sparkle. I let my daughter color in the butterfly because she just had to try them too!!

Memorial Day Weekend

Happy weekend to everyone. I am sharing the projects my daughter and I did yesterday and this morning. Yesterday we painted the terracotta flower pots and this morning we stamped them with Versacraft ink and Unity Stamps. The purple one has mushrooms from unity's July set(3 of them) and the smallest is from the Our life, Our Stories set and the butterflies are from a different set each. The yellow pot uses the grow stamp from Unity's Flirty Flowers and both flowers are from their Aug 2008 set. This was a fun project and now we need to do some planting.

My first card today uses stamps from the wonderful unity birdie inspiration set...I LOVE this set!!! The papers and embellies are from Making Memories Garden Party.

My next card uses another favorite set...the Confession I luv Unity set. The pp and chipboard are Basic Grey Porcelain, cardstock is CTMH and bling is Kaisercraft. I hope everyone has a fun and safe Holiday weekend!!! Thanks for coming to visit!!!

I hope every Mother out there had a great day this year. My day was certainly not what I expected, with my mother in the hospital and driving 200+ unplanned miles. Mom got out of the hospital the next day and all is better. I certainly can't complain about anything after receiving these wonderful hand made gifts from my daughter. The poem and card are both BEAUTIFUL and I just wanted to share. TFL!!
