Happy Hip Hop Hangover!!!

THANK YOU for visiting my blog today. For now I have one card to share since I forgot I had an appointment this morning. I should be back later with more to share. My card has the flower, sentiment stamp and corner flourish from the May kit ...another sweet day, the butterfly is from the Dec kit little reminders. ALL stamps are from Unity, of course. The scallop strip is from Quickutz and the nested ovals are from Spellbinders. All cardstock is from Close To My Heart (watermelon, hydrangea and sunkiss yellow). The images are colored with my new atyouSpica markers, I LOVE them and the sparkle. I let my daughter color in the butterfly because she just had to try them too!!

Enjoy your day!!! Jodi

Memorial Day Weekend

Happy weekend to everyone. I am sharing the projects my daughter and I did yesterday and this morning. Yesterday we painted the terracotta flower pots and this morning we stamped them with Versacraft ink and Unity Stamps. The purple one has mushrooms from unity's July set(3 of them) and the smallest is from the Our life, Our Stories set and the butterflies are from a different set each. The yellow pot uses the grow stamp from Unity's Flirty Flowers and both flowers are from their Aug 2008 set. This was a fun project and now we need to do some planting.

Unity Kit of the Month Blog Hop!!!

Hello and Welcome to the first Unity Kit of The Month Blog Hop!!! This will be going on all weekend and I am so happy to be a part of this. I chose to use stamps from the February Kit "Endings and Beginnings" and I hope to do it justice. I LOVE the Unity Kits!!! They are always beyond my expectations(I started getting the kits in Sept). I found picking just one kit to use for this blog hop incredibly difficult, they are all so beautiful. If you are interested in receiving it monthly just click on the very cute kit of the month blog hop blinkie to the right.
If you get lost along this hop you can check to see who is next by going to the list of Unity Kit Lovers here

For my first card I used Making Memories Flower Patch line of products, my second uses Fancy Pants Key Lime Pie, Doodlebug Bling and a Fiskars border punch.

THANK YOU so much for stopping by my tiny little spot on the internet.
Now please head over to the next very incredibly talented Paper crafter Rebecca G. here

Mothers Day

I hope every Mother out there had a great day this year. My day was certainly not what I expected, with my mother in the hospital and driving 200+ unplanned miles. Mom got out of the hospital the next day and all is better. I certainly can't complain about anything after receiving these wonderful hand made gifts from my daughter. The poem and card are both BEAUTIFUL and I just wanted to share. TFL!!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!!!!

I would like to wish anyone that may happen upon my blog a very HAPPY NATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING DAY!!! I have some cards to share with you....I haven't made a layout in a while, though scrapbooking is what got me started in card making.
My first card uses Bazzill cardstock, pp and diecut from sassafass lass, bling from doodlebug and all stamps are from Unity (distressed dots, becoming butterfly, and the butterfly from fresh beginnings...the April KOTM).
For my 2nd card, bling, papers and ink are from Close To My Heart (groovy blossoms). Both stamps are Unity, the flourish is in the April Kit and Imagine butterfly is from Trifle Sentiments. TFL!!!!
