Happy Holidays to all of you!!! I hope none of you are quite as snowed in as we are here. Be sure to check out all of the great deals at UNITY by clicking on the link to the right.
Here I am on another Friday using the same great snowman stamp by Lisa Hetrick.....I must really like it. I received my Dec KOTM yesterday and just had to use these cute mittens, I just love how they look on the kraft card stamped in white pigment based dye ink. Then, of course, the snow man needed a little stickles bling.

These next two cards also stick with my theme of being snowed in today. I used my nestabilities to cut the shapes. They both have the UNITY snowflake stamp from the Sept KOTM friendship, love, miracles. Then the last card uses the UNITY trees trinity trio stamp. The backgrounds use the same white ink as the first card and the main images are both embossed with a mixture of silver and white spark embossing powder from Sparkle and Sprinkle. TFL!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!

More UNITY STAMP CO. Hip Hop Hangover!

Here is an acrylic ornament I made with the Unity Stamp Snowone like you. This stamp set was made by the very talented Stamp Artist Lisa Hetrick. I used stazon ink in Ultramarine and some Icicle Stickles on the opposite side to add some "snow bling".

Happy Unity Hip Hop Hangover

Hey did you check out the Unity Stamp Co website yesterday?? Angela the Rockstar owner has her first stamp set out and it is GREAT!!! They also have some great specials through tonight (Friday).

Here is a card I made with some of my favorite new stamps, all from Unity. The neighborhood of simplicity and sleigh ride. Paper is from cosmo cricket, embellishments from making memories, snowflake embossing plate from Quickutz and a little bling from stickles. TFL!!!!

Merry Christmas

This was a kit from Close To My Heart that I loved. I made my own layout instead of following theirs, and here is the finished product. The Santa pictures are my favorite. Her outfit was perfect and he was the VERY BEST Santa EVER.

Snow Angel

A fun layout using Close To My Heart coordinating papers and ink. Let It Snow and Joy stamp sets, Precious alphabet set.

Horseback Ride On The Beach

Here's 1 of a 2 page layout. Again all Close To My Heart Products including the Horse stamp set.

Our Family

This photo was taken when Jazi was 6 months old and this simple layout is one of my very favorite. How did I actually look decent with no sleep at all??

All products from Close To My Heart, amethyst base pages, amethyst embellishments, Family stamp set and In Stitches Alphabet and Numbers.

5th Birthday

This layout uses all Close To My Heart products, from when I was a Consultant with them. A mix of coordinating stamps, papers and embellishments. TFL!!!

This layout was so fun to make. I remember thinking it was WAY TOO BUSY after I was done.....out of my "comfort" zone. When I look at it now I'm glad it looks that way..... as it matches the memory of a wonderful, busy Halloween perfectly.

Most items from CTMH except for the Halloween buttons.

This layout was made using a kit from Close To My Heart. All of the pictures are from our trip to Athens, Greece. If you look very close you may see the Olympic Torch behind my daughter and I in two of the photos.

Here's a layout from when my daughter chose her kitten. All products are from Close To My Heart including the stamps to make the collar. TFL!!

Here's a layout/frame I made using a pageframes scalloped circle acrylic frame. The lace and photos are under the frame and the rest of the embellishments are on top of it.

My daughter just turned 3 here and got the tutu for her birthday. She would wear it all the time and dance and jump in front of the fireplace.

I really had fun with this project and plan to do more acrylic projects.

Here's my first scrapbook layout for a UNITY stamp challenge. It's also been quite a while since I posted at all.......thanks to the UNITY HIP HOP girls. I've spent all my free time reading the TWILIGHT SAGA and Midnight Sun...... I just had to see what everyone was talking about and I was an instant addict.

I just love the UNITY stamps and handles. They have such great BIG stamps for scrapping, I just can't wait to make more and more layouts. Soon there will also be a scrapping DESIGN TEAM at UNITY also!!! WOW......I WISH!!!!!!! I guess it never hurts to try when it is something you really love to do.

My journaling on the layout says

My Sweet Jazmin,
Before I had you I didn't REALLY understand the expression TIME FLIES. Looking back at this picture, I know that it truly does. I cherish every moment of your childhood-soon it will fly away.
Love, Mom

Hip Hop Hangover Friday

Here's a card using the adorable stamp set from Unity Stamp Co called Cuter Than Most. I've had this paper for a while (My Mind's Eye) and I do like to stamp on patterned paper sometimes. I also used my favorite border punch from fiskars and added some matching paper on the inside of the card to see through the border. Thanks for looking.
I just can't help but show off my beautiful daughter. I can't believe she is almost 8 years old! AND that it's been 8 years since I had that big basketball belly....seems like yesterday. I am SO proud of her, she is doing so well in school, WOW!!! so amazing!!!!
Happy Friday and Unity HIP HOP Hangover!! This is the card I made for the stripe challenge yesterday on the splitcoast stampers Unity forum. I used two different Unity stamps here, the spiders are from unlucky 13 and the very cool Halloween quote is from tis near Halloween.

I'm hoping to be back with more to show later today, thanks for looking.

After a full day of unity HIP HOP inspiration from all the girls at the UNITY forum I wanted to create some bling today. I did a little mixing of embossing powder and glitter and it turned out OK. I wanted the tree a little darker but I do love the sparkle.

More of My WCMD Cards

Both of these cards are very simple, yet were fun to make as part of the Unity WCMD challenge. The you are my sunshine card is for my daughter, I used to sing that to her when she was much much younger.

Today is World Card Making Day and this is my first card of the day. All the stamps here are from Unity Stamp Company's September Kit of the Month.....which I love.

Monday, September 22, 2008

I made this clock with an "old" picture of my daughter(approx 3 years ago). All products are Heidi Swapp except the rub ons (Pink Paislee) and the cardstock (Bazzill Bling). The transparency and the mirror butterfly say "Time Flies". The elements added all fly....clock with wings, butterflies, bird and bling dragonfly. Ever since I became a mother time flies faster than ever.

Unity Tree Card

This card is my second stamped with a Unity Stamp from Unity Stamp Company (my first is the pink and black just below). This is one of my favorite cards I've done since I started stamping 5 years ago. Using a great tree stamp from my FAVORITE new stamp company Unity and beautiful patterned papers from another favorite, Pink Paislee. I love the look when using different papers from the same line.
I found Unity Stamp Company while reading my PaperCrafts magazine and I saw the most beautiful bird was made of flowers. I had to look them up online right away. The artwork in their gallery is beautiful and so inspirational. The forum is full of really nice and funny stamp-a-holics...I fit right in.
After looking at all of the beautiful variety of stamped images I almost didn't enter the challenge to CASE a card of one of their design team members. Well I entered the challenge and actually won!!!! I won a stamp set from them. I was shocked and very happy. I'm now waiting for their Kit Of The Month to arrive so I can create more stamping projects.
